Gavin John is a photographer and author who has spent more than two decades documenting extreme environments in many of the world’s most remote locations. In recent years, his focus has expanded to encompass history, heritage and the built environment. He has authored several published books, including Australian Theatres and Cinemas and Australia’s Historic Pubs with Woodslane Press, and his work has been exhibited widely, featuring extensively in print, online and film.
