Woodslane Press publishes under four distinct imprints. The largest is Woodslane Press itself. The second imprint to join the fold was Boiling Billy, created in the 1990s by outback travellers Craig Lewis and Cathy Savage, and now jointly owned by them and Woodslane Press, with the latter taking care of all book development, production and publishing. The Where to Ride cycling imprint was launched in the 2009 by Bicycling Australia Press and acquired by Woodslane Press in 2017. Australia Through Time was created in 2021 by Woodslane Press and co-publisher Fonthill Media (UK) to publish books dedicated to visually exploring regional Australia’s physical history. The Hand-in-Hand imprint was created in 2017 for books published by Woodslane Press but which have been partially funded by third parties.

Woodslane Press

The imprint is best known for Australia’s bestselling series of walking guides, the Woodslane Walking Guides, now numbering more than 25 titles, but is home to a surprisingly diverse range of non-fiction and children’s titles
