Taylor is a former firefighter from Texas and current PhD candidate at Monash University. An avid hiker, he has covered more than 2000 kilometres by foot in Australia. His adventure writing has appeared on We Are Explorers, and he has published a poetry collection, HELLO CRUEL WORLD (Wendy’s Subway, 2022). If he's not playing honky tonk music in the city, you can probably find him watching birds somewhere out in the bush.
