John and Monica Chapman have been writing walking guides for Australians for over 40 years and are the best-known writers and authorities on the major walks across the continent. Their books are considered by many to be essential reading for anyone planning a trip to areas including Tasmania’s Western Arthurs, Federation Peak, Southern Ranges and Mt Anne circuit, as well as the Australian Alps Walking Track.
