Australian photographer Jay Millard, born in 1982, has spent the past six years photographing and documenting historical abandoned buildings in South East Queensland, before these timeworn locations are gone forever. With tight vertical lines and a slightly desaturated editing style, Jay is a self-taught photographer who quickly found a passion for photographing abandoned buildings. While the majority of Jay’s images haven’t hitherto been publicly published (in order to protect the heritage importance of these buildings), the photographs that have been publicly shown online and in galleries have proven to be extremely popular.
