For more than 40 years, Simon has travelled to nearly every corner of Western Australia. His love of the country shows through in the many books he has written over the years. The books have varied from writing on natural history to historical writings. His real love though is in the realm of natural history and he combines this with his love of stunning photography. He either uses his big 500 F4 telephoto for his detailed bird photography or, at the other end of the scale, his massive 64 mega pixel landscape camera to take the most detailed landscape panoramas. Recently he has started using a drone, allowing us to see the land in such a different way. Woodslane Publishers showcases his latest work in the book Australia’s Great Western Deserts.
