Paul Amyes

Paul Amyes is a freelance photographer and writer who has lived in Western Australia since 1988. Paul cut his bushwalking teeth on following Roman roads in the United Kingdom at an early age and sees walking and cycling as the perfect ways to explore the world, and journalism as the perfect excuse to be nosey. Since coming to Australia he has developed a keen connection with the land, wishing to explore and understand it both from the natural world’s perspective and its historical and cultural significance. Paul’s overall wish is that he is able to communicate this to others through his writing and photography so that others will develop a love and understanding of their environment and a desire to explore what is on their own doorstep.
