Professor John Croucher is one of Australia’s most prominent statisticians and has been recognised with multiple international, national, state and university awards for outstanding teaching. He also has awards for excellence in education and the inaugural Distinguished Alumni Award from Macquarie University. John has an international reputation that has also led to invitations from many prestigious overseas universities to present his research. And in 2011 John was awarded his third PhD, an honorary doctorate from the Divine Word University in PNG for his outstanding services to academia, the university and the country. In 2015 he gained his fourth PhD, this time from the University of Technology, Sydney.
