Annabelle Hale is an illustrator, author and designer based in Melbourne who works both digitally and using various traditional media. Annabelle grew up travelling to the country each weekend with her family and loves spending time outdoors in nature. She is passionate about environmental issues and often incorporates native animals and plants into her artwork. Annabelle was previously a support worker for children with disabilities and loved reading to her clients and seeing how the pictures would help them engage with the story. She enjoys using bright colours and creating fun characters and stories that kids (and adults!) can find humour in.
