Andy Peart has lived in the Top End for many years, appreciating the area’s natural environment and enjoying sharing it with others. He’s worked in tourism, education and training, Indigenous land management and community development. Andy is currently Field Officer for the Bininj Kunwok Regional Language Centre based in Jabiru, working on community language projects with speakers of Kunwinjku and other dialects in Kakadu National Park and West Arnhem Land.
He also volunteers with Environment Centre Northern Territory, helping organise fundraising, educational bushwalks and webinars on Top End environmental issues. Author royalties from sales of Best Walks of the Top End go directly to ECNT, which had input into the book’s content.
