Boiling Billy

Boiling Billy was the brainchild of two inveterate Aussie travellers, Craig Lewis and Cathy Savage. The imprint has been the publisher of Australia's best-loved and bestselling regional camping guides for over 25 years. Originally black and white with hand-drawn 'mud-maps', Boiling Billy joined forces with Woodslane Press in 2008 to gradually revamp the guides into the full-colour series beloved by campers across the country today. Building on this success, we have also published a series of 4WD guides and popular stand-alone titles such as Australian Bush Pubs, a lavishly illustrated look at the country's most iconic country and outback drinking holes, Australian Bush Cooking (by far the bestselling book of its kind) and The Wonder of Nature’s Way by photographer extraordinaire Louise Denton.
